General Guidelines for Your CV
Formatting & Readability
Too large a font will limit your space and too small a font will make it difficult to read. In this respect, it is important to choose a legible typeface and font size. Again, easy-to-read fonts such as 'times, arial, helvetica' and 11-12 point fonts are preferred. Your CV should not exceed 2, maximum 3 pages.
Highlighting Achievements & Experience
In one-quarter to one-third of your CV, you should highlight qualifications such as relevant degrees, experience in a relevant industry or significant achievements.
Contact Information
Having your private e-mail address, such as Gmail or Outlook, written down makes it easy and fast to reach you. It is also useful to check your private e-mails.
Keep It Clear and Concise
The CV should not be an 'essay'. The language and expressions used should be clear, concise and simple and not monotonous in appearance. You should include your academic background, certificates and seminar programs, if any.
